Ferran Latorre, one of the most experienced climbers in the world, continues with his greatest challenge: be the first Catalan to obtain, without oxygen, the world 14 peaks over 8,000 meters. Latorre has already climbed 10 peaks; Shisha Pangma, Annapurna, Broad Peak, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Kangchenjunga, Shisha Pangma Central, Gasherbrum I, Lhotse and K2. Ferran Latorre is an elite climber with over 25 years experience who has won two Golden Axes (highest distinction of the Spanish Federation of Mountain), 1995 and the award for best activity in the Himalayas in 2008. Professional cameraman and photographer is pioneered record and edit images from the expeditions and has a long diffusion path in audio-visual media. For 15 years he worked as a cameraman in the TVE program “The Edge of the impossible.” He has conducted expeditions around the world: Asia, Greenland, Antarctica (Queen Maud Land), South Georgia, USA, among others. He has twice won the journalism award for Mountain in the Festival International of Torello.
